This is a rare find and if someone can authenticate by a prestigious organization as being painted by the famous Russian Expressionism Artist known as Chaim Soutine. Either way the artwork is beautiful and obviously not a giclee, serigraph, or new painting. I look at the age of the canvas, paint, wood stretching frame, and nail appearance of the canvas into the stretch frame has just a few things to judge the authenticity of the item and amount to invest. The canvas wood frame has some mold and water damage; however, the art canvas itself is in remarkable good condition and the signature is identical to the artist it is being presented in the manner of. Please look at pictures and judge for yourself to determine the value of what you think it is worth and amount you would like to invest for financial or purely aesthetic value as I did.
