This beautiful and well dressed woman stands with one hand on a green upholstered chair within a wonderful lavish Victorian bedroom. Executed in a folksy style, this painting is well executed clearly painted by a rather talented hand. Dating from 1984 the condition of the painting is excellent and measures unframed 16.25 x 13.5 inches. Executed in oil on canvas I love this painting not only for its wonderful color but also use of geometric shapes on the floor and right half of the composition. The red carpet the stands out immediately attracting the eye before slowing working up the cool blue dress. This painting works really well and looks excellent when hung on the wall.
