As a landscape painter. Bresil is one of those painters whose work is instantly recognizable for his repetitive use of lush green jungle landscapes that are often populated with pink flamingos with waterfalls, flowing streams or tranquil pools of water. Bresil is much appreciated by art lovers and collectors throughout the world and his work. Bresil became quite eccentric as he got older and his brilliant career was cut short by his untimely death tragically in a violent altercation at a restaurant in 1999.
