The painting seems to be unsigned or at least I couldn’t spot a signature. It bares thought Hungarian label verso I couldn’t decipher that could carry an information on the artist. The artist could be Hungarian or the painting could’ve been simply exported at some point from Hungary so it needed some sort of an official appraisal. The painting itself is measuring about 26″ (66 cm) by 21″ (53 cm), and the frame is measuring 31 (79 cm) by 26 (66 cm). There are some minor old repairs to canvas piercings can be detected verso. This fine period piece would be a sound investment and a great addition to any collection.
