This is a painting by A. “Beanie” Backus called “Leaning Palms”. The painting is 25″ high by 30″ wide. The painting is believed to be Circa. It has a beautiful seascape scene with a lone palm tree jutting out into the middle of the painting. The painting is signed by Mr. Backus in the lower right corner. In 2016 the painting was taken to Van Witt conservator in Kansas City to preserve, clean and protect the painting. Please look at paperwork to see what was done.
