Original abstract painting signed by the artist. Oil on heavy duty canvas. I was born in Odessa, Ukraine in 1989. In 1997 with my parents I moved to Yerevan, Armenia where I got a Bachelor degree in Art and Design from Yerevan State Academy of Fine Arts. After getting my degree in 2009, I moved to Los Angeles, California for permanent residence, where I continued my art education. Currently I hold an Associate degree in Studio Arts, Art History and BA in Art and Design. I’m an independent artist, member of California Art Club CAC. Although I’m a big fan of contemporary art, I consider myself as an abstract expressionist. I often combine several mediums, such as oil, acrylic, and watercolor. I paint landscapes, seascapes, villages and city views. Natalya Romanovsky Oil Painting titled “Morning”. This is a gorgeous piece from the European born, Ohio artist, Natalya Romanovsky. It is an abstract painting of a woman dressing in front of a mirror. This is an absolutely beautiful piece and it would make a wonderful addition. Natalya Romanovsky emigrated from Moldova in 1993 to Cleveland, Ohio having earlier received her B. Degree from the Kishinev Art College. Her work combines vibrant color, rich texture and much movement. She starts every painting with a simple sketch, and then as each shape and object finds it has soul and speaks to me she completes the piece. Her semi-abstract paintings are from the heart. Natalya exhibits regularly in Ohio and in galleries throughout the United States. Some Age and Use Related Wear. Even an objective picture of reality in a given moment reveals only one of its possible viewings. I attempt instead to encourage new creations, outside of the fenced world of perceptual experience; to convert dreams of reality to the reality of life. Everything, that I now do, is the original bridge from very old to new future. Truly Exceptional, Antique, American, Primitive Folk Art Portrait Painting. I believe they call this style of folk art painting “grotesque” as some of her features are exaggerated. She may have been a seamstress (see thimble on hand). Oil on canvas painting. I would date the painting to the early-mid 1800’s. Framed the painting measures 19″ by 15″, unframed: 15 3/4″ by 12″. Excellent-very good antique condition. One tiny dimple (mid-left) that does not penetrate canvas (please see images).
