After some research, this may be a portrait of the Duke of Monmouth, who has a couple very similar portraits. The painting appears to be unsigned, and a remnant of an old paper label on the back of the stretcher is illegible. Size: the frame measures about 34.5 inches tall by 30 inches wide. The painting measures about 29.5 inches tall by 25 inches wide. Condition: the painting has an old repair to the back of the canvas and corresponding in-painting around his head as pictured.
