Original Oil Painting Of Asparagus & Red Onion-Kitchen Art-Still Life-Realism
This piece is titled “Asparagus Meets Onion” and is from my Sun-Washed series. It was painted outdoors in full sun from life, n ot a photograph. Stretcher bars are extra thick at 1.25 & side surfaces are painted, so no need to frame unless you want to. Great companion piece for Persnickety Pear! The colors jump off the subtle background. It’s painted on stretched, gessoed canvas with oil paint and has a satin UV varnish. It’s a nice small piece that can fit almost anywhere. If you would like this in a black wood floater frame let me know. Size: Canvas 8×10x 1.25. Just unpack and hang, that’s it! I originally became a still life painter because I love food. Juicy fruits, colorful vegetables, glasses of wine, I adore all of these pleasures, so its natural for me to paint them. Plus, they don’t move. My other love is foreign travel. I often combine objects from my adventures with food. Early in life I started a Peruvian imports business after working in a coal mine f. I continued to paint and study art privately, including mural painting in England. I also founded a cat rescue in rural Colorado.
