Angelo Burgoyne (Judda) P14 – 03. Angelo was born in Cummins (Lower Eyre Peninsula), SA in 1970. He belongs to Kookatha tribe where his forefathers used to be in the stolen generation. Angelo is mostly named as Judda and his interest over artwork came from his family. He started in 2000 and most of his painting depicts hunting and gathering of bush food from the wild life. Aboriginal Painting by Audrey Martin Napanangka (P16-12). Audrey was born in 1950 in Yuendumu, a settlement about 370km away from Alice Springs, NT. She grew up in Yeundumu and went through local primary school. Audrey learnt painting from Netta Williams (Napanangka) and by watching tribal elders body painting. Both of her parents were good artists. Audrey started painting on canvas in 1986. She exhibited her works in Rome, Venice and other European cities. Some of Audreys dreaming are bush tucker (food), witchety grubs, Bush Sultana and Bush tomato. In recent years some of her paintings are printed into fabric by M&S textiles Australia and they have been very popular ever since. Nowadays Audery is one of the senior and well respected female artists in Yuendumu.
