MARVIN GUTIN 1927-2012 OIL ON CANVAS VINTAGE ABSTRACT ORIGINAL ART 36”x18′
Marvin Gutin had one-man shows at the Ward Eggleston Gallery (1966) and the Caravan House in New York City. His works were also included in group shows at the City Center and the Leonarda Di Mauro Gallery in New York. Gutin supported his passion for art with jobs in the restaurant business eventually opening his own restaurant, Marvin Gardens, on Broadway and 82nd. Street on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. After his retirement in 1992, he painted almost every day both in his studio in New York and at his summer home in Pennsylvania where the artwork offered here was stored. Marvin Gutin called himself an existential expressionist. (TO AVOID CONFUSION IS VIDEO TAPED). We are experienced packers of breakable items. We use new boxes, bubble wrap and peanuts. We don’t used boxes from the grocery store and wrap a couple of pieces of newspaper around it. WE ARE A FAMILY RUN BUSINESS. THANK YOU FOR LOOKING. This item is in the category “Art\Paintings”.
