Here’s an Interesting Antique Oil Painting of Flowers. Its unsigned as far as I can see. Condition is good – there may be a few very small spot touch ups (see the dull circular spots in picture 4). C AUTHENTIC OIL PAINTING OF FARMER COWS. BEAUTIFUL WORK OF ART BY 19. Up for sale fine painting, landscape with cows, oil on canvas. The painting appears unsigned but attributed to Don Morgan. It has his name written of the frame. It is a very vibrant scene capturing the simple peasant farmer life in the countryside with cows in front of the painting. Flat fields stretch well into the blurred distance where a few more cows are visible before the shaded hills. The pallette is well painted and suggestive of possible evening or upcoming rain. X 9 1/4; overall with golden gilded wooden frame: 14 1/2 x 12 1/2. Painting is in good condition commensurate with the age. It has some wear, some surface soiling and toning showing the actual age. Very nice older painting of crusades soldier. The image has a rebaldo look but no religious marks but crusades banner. Good color with good painting surface. The stretcher if original is wedged type that would date it very early. Has Triangular intial SAT on leg of horse. Image is 12 by 16 inches and would be very well enhanced with period frame.
