D’ALESSANDRO ORIGINAL OIL PAINTING ON CANVAS SIGNED WithCOA BOATS IN HARBOR 40×30
D’ALESSANDRO ORIGINAL OIL PAINTING ON CANVAS UNTITLED SIGNED WITH CERTIFICATE OF ORIGIN BOATS IN HARBOR IMAGE MEASURES 40 X 30 INCHES SIGNED IN HER NOM DE PLUME HUMES NEW NEVER DISPLAYED REMOVED FROM ORIGINAL PACKAGING FOR PICTURE TAKING PURPOSE ONLY. D’Alessandro was born in Italy in 1943, the daughter of an Italian diplomat from Brazil. She studied art in Rome and when her father became consul in Brazil she continued her studies there. The paintings by D’Alessandro have been exhibited in the united states since 1967 with great success. Paintings by D’Alessandro have been on permanent exhibit with the Arnot art dealers in New York since 1967. Her work is well- know in Europe and Latin America as well. D’Alessandro also used nom de plume for subject matter that differed from her typical subject matter of her D’Alessandro paintings including: Goodridge, Humes, Montand, Renot, Marlo, Mitchell, la Boete, Bisset, Lapin, la Vie. It is not very often that people ask me what it is that inspired my paintings. I find this question to be very thoughtful and inspiring for my paintings in the future. Growing up in Italy I was surrounded by ports with beautiful boats constantly coming and going. My father and I would often go down to the harbors to look at all of the different boats there. It was at that time that I developed my love of boats, and wanted to capture their beauty on canvas. It inspires me as an artist to know that my paintings are appreciated by the people who see them in the galleries and take them home to share their beauty. D’Alessandro retired from painting after severe bouts with Lyme’s Disease which left her with extreme pain in her joints and has since kept her from her painting studio. D’Alessandro was married to the late artist Luiz Coelho. The item “D’ALESSANDRO ORIGINAL OIL PAINTING ON CANVAS SIGNED WithCOA BOATS IN HARBOR 40×30″ is in sale since Tuesday, July 19, 2016. Sergey Cherep Original Oil Painting on Canvas Boats on Lake in Summer, FINE
Sergey Cherep (1969 -). Sergey Cherep (1969 -) “Boats on a Summer Day” Oil Painting on Canvas 41 x 35 inches (frame) 30 x 24 inches (canvas) Signed: low right & reverse c. This phenomenal post impressionist oil painting on canvas was created by the famous contemporary Russian artist Sergey Cherep. Painted in a style that resembles Vincent Van Gogh Sergey likes to think of his painting “Fairytales” allowing the “Fantastic” to happen. Composed of heavy brushstrokes and vivid / contrasting colors creates a striking image that is sure to cause you stop and stare. This original oil painting depicts two sailboats out on a lake with three small boats in the foreground resting on the shore. To the right stands four tall trees and overhead large white clouds that partially fill the bright blue summer sky. Cherep uses a considerable amount of red to create this eye catching work which can be seen in the clouds almost fully outlined. The painting is large measuring in total 41 x 35 in its beautiful wood frame with the canvas measuring 30 x 24 inches. The condition is mint and ready to be hung and enjoyed. This work is not only signed in the lower right corner but also on the reverse. Visit our online gallery from home at Henningfineart. Com. We specialize in fine art from the Renaissance to Modern and even offer appraisal services on our website. With hundreds of happy customers over the last few years we guarantee your satisfaction with superior customer service and experience. Sergey Cherep was born in Leningrad now St. At the age of 3, he developed meningitis and become paralyzed, unable to walk and speak for several years. Attending a school for children with disabilities until he was 7 years old, he found great comfort in painting, and continued with his studies when he enrolled in a school for artists. He later went to college at the prestigious Serovo Art Institute where he gained extensive knowledge in the classic art disciplines including European Art History, photography, printing processes, sculpture, restoration, methods and painting from still-lifes to portraits. Sergey graduated from the University in 1988, when he was 18. Glasnost was just coming about, but the life of the artist was still very difficult. Filled with wanderlust and dreams of what he could accomplish, in 1991, Sergey decided to come to America to find the artistic freedom he craved. The turning point for Sergey occurred when he met his future wife, Renee, in 1995. With his talent and her head for business, the couple immediately set out to get Sergey and his art recognized. The technique Sergey embraces is the post-impressionistic style made famous by Van Gogh. He incorporates Van Gogh’s simplicity of colors, his energy, unrealistic colors and expressive brushstrokes. Sergey tries to achieve a three dimensional quality using perspective and thick texture. Sergey describes his paintings as “fairytales”, allowing the fantastic to happen. Sergey’s works are in galleries internationally. The item “Sergey Cherep Original Oil Painting on Canvas Boats on Lake in Summer, FINE” is in sale since Sunday, June 25, 2017.
