Original Dave Stirling Oil on Board Painting Rose Aspens Nice Condition
Based primarily in the Estes Park, Colorado area, he painted primarily in the Rocky Mountain National Park. He worked exclusively in oils and painted on board for the most part. He was perhaps most well known for his colorful aspen paintings of which this is a fine example. The artwork here measures approximately 14″ x 21 1/2″. The framed size is about 18 1/2 x 26. It is artist signed in the lower right hand corner. It is nicely framed in a gold frame and the back is covered with a black backing paper. A note on the back shows the name of this painting to be Rose Aspens. This painting along with the frame are both in excellent condition, and it is ready to hang on your wall for years of enjoyment. Welcome to Antiques & Moore! This listing is for a very nice antique oil on canvas painting of a young boy sitting asleep with a newspaper and cherubs watching from above holding a bag of gold coins. The painting is beautifully hand painted with intricate details. The canvas is in very good condition showing minor wear from normal wear commensurate with age. No chips or flaking on canvas. The painting is framed with a nice carved wood frame with gold leaf finish. The frame is in fair condition with some minor signs of normal wear again commensurate with age. No other noted flaws. The frame measures 13 5/8″ long and 11 5/8″ wide. Site measures 9 3/4″ long and 7 3/4″ wide.
