Vintage plein air California oil painting poppies with vivid colors ca 1930’s
Very nice California oil painting in an equally nice frame. Great plein air style, would date this painting to the 1930’s or 40’s. Unfortunately, it is not signed. This is a canvas adhered to board and the image size is about 18″ x 16″. The 3 wide period frame looks great on the piece as well. Very nicely executed painting, with the poppies and lupine and would be a great addition to your California painting collection. I will be listing a few really good examples of California and bluebonnet paintings in the next couple of weeks.
