Giovanni Zancolò Italy Oil painting on canvas Still life Pourer mortar & pestle

Including frame: Height: 31,5 inch ; Width: 23,6 inch ; Depth: 2,5 inch; Weight: 5,75 lbs. Height: 27,5 inch ; Width: 19,7 inch. Excellent general conditions, both for the painting and for the wooden frame. Small line present on the mortar, barely visible, as shown in the numerous photos. Beautiful, large oil painting on canvas depicting a still life with a silvered wooden frame, datable around 1970 – 1980, made by the Italian painter Giovanni Zancolò, an artist still alive. The still life depicts a container, a copper oil pourer with brass handle and spout and a brass mortar and pestle both on a cloth. On the back a drapery, part of a curtain. Painting of excellent artistic level, the picture is superbly executed, note the beauty of the light reflections on the metal objects. Made in post-impressionist style, slightly inspired, especially in the colors and perspective of the objects, by the style of great artists such as Henri Matisse. Useful information for the evaluation of the object. Certainly a painter of some importance. PORCELAINS, CERAMICS, TERRACOTTE, BRONZE, PAINTINGS, FURNITURE, GLASS AND MUCH MORE AS, FOR EXAMPLE. For each object there may be multiple advertisements in different countries: USA, Italy, France, United Kingdom, etc. REMEMBER TO PUT ME IN THE FOLLOWING SELLERS LIST. Double box with a lot of bubble wrap around the object and a lot of soft material in the large cavities on all sides between the two boxes.
