Oil painting signed by the great master of. Protrait of a woman. In the iconic style of. Signed on upper left. And on the back in white. There are three stickers on the back. Exhibition in France, Sidney Janis Gallery And serial number. 38.5 X46 CM. My father bought it in Spain. I receive it after he died. I guess it came with documents. I do not know the story of the painting. All I know about the painting is what is written on the sticker on the back of the painting. I do not know the precise age of the item. The painting was not examined by an art expert. The period is only approximate. Please pay up to 48 hours after the end of the sale. Includes return of the item b ack to us. I believe it is original. RARE & EXCEPTIONAL Art Deco Original Oil On Canvas Framed Water Bird Painting
The picture is of a flamboyantly colored water bird of some type with lush rose and pink feathers with a white water lily in the foreground. The colors are exceptional! I do not see a signature anywhere on the painting. It is in excellent condition. The paper backing probably crumbled and fell off quite some time ago. I have a pair of these originals, but listed separately. Would love to keep them together. This fabulous painting does have glass over the top. Measuring 20″ from top to bottom and 16″ from side to side. The frame has almost a acanthus type design and is cream with raised decoration. PAUL KLEE Original STILL LIFE 1940 Oil on Canvas RARE Art WORTH A LOT
Here we have an Original Paul Klee (The Last) Still Life 1940 Private Collection Oil on Canvas Framed Art Painting, 100cm x 80.5cm. I believe that this was framed by the gallery itself and the outer edges of the painting are covered a bit by the frame so Im unable to see a signature and it is sealed on the backside so I do not want to open it up and mess with it as it is very old! It is not directly covered by glass and has what appears to be a canvas edge and the glass is sitting on top of that. THIS WAS ORIGINALLY LISTED FOR MUCH CHEAPER BEFORE I KNEW WHAT I ACTUALLY HAD. MY LOSS IS YOUR GAIN! This painting was one of his last before his death in 1940. I have been unable to find an exact one anywhere online and can only find reproductions that are clearly different which makes this a RARE Find. The frame is in decent condition with some scratches/light scuffs and such but otherwise no major imperfections. You dont want to miss out on this! Item comes from smoke free, pet friendly home.
