The Beach, 28×22, Original, Oil Painting, Gold, Frame, Arts
Beach 28″x22″ Original Oil Paintings Gold Framed. I was drawn to oil painting because of the expressive qualities I can create. Communicating my feelings of the moment through paint is my goal. What is going on in the World around us is important to me. The meditative feel of moving paint around a canvas and the therapeutic application of color is what I crave. I’m drawn to impressionist painting, inspired by Post Impressionism. Van Gogh, Renoir, Degas & Lucian Freud are inspirations. Showing the viewer part of the story and letting them form their own impression is my goal. I intend to infuse humor, story telling, abstract and detail elements in my paintings. Animal and figurative portraits inspire me and give voice to some of the most important emotions of the human condition. Artist working in St. Originally a graphic designer/illustrator. Graduate of the Kansas City Art Institute, BFA in Design. Owner of Wiener Dog Graphics and Wiener Dog Studios. MA, Master of Arts, Fontbonne University.
