A move to Colorado during his early teen years brought about a new love to build his growing interest in art on § The Rocky Mountains. Contemporary Original Oil Painting on Canvas Landscape Grand Canyon Park Arizona
Contemporary Original Oil Painting on Canvas Landscape Grand Canyon Park Arizona. Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona. Stretched canvas: 28 by 22 inches (71 x 56 cm). Sides painted white, no visible staplers on sides. Ready to hang without a frame. An original oil painting on canvas, this is a view of the Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona. In this painting, I captured the time before sunset when the sun is just beginning to descend, deep dark blue shadows appear on the horizon and suddenly glows golden reflections on the mountains. I start the painting process by mixing natural ground pigments, often grinding them by myself from minerals with the medium. I finish the painting working with oil. It gives me the opportunity to present my subject in an aura of light, vibrant color and freshness. Sale of the item does not transfer copyrights.
