Saraswoti Goddess Of Knowledge/ Music/ Arts/ Wisdom Painting With Silk Brocade

This is an original hand-painted Saraswati Painting with a traditional silk brocade. This is a beautiful and vibrant artistic representation of Saraswati, the Hindu goddess of knowledge, music, arts, and wisdom. Typically depicted in a serene and elegant form, Saraswati is often portrayed seated on a lotus or swan, playing a musical instrument like the veena and holding scriptures, symbolizing the fusion of art, culture, and education. This painting incorporate intricate details, vivid colors, and a sense of divinity, making them not only visually appealing but also spiritually significant. Saraswati paintings are commonly found in homes, temples, and educational institutions, serving as a source of inspiration and reverence for learning and creativity. Whether in traditional or contemporary styles, Saraswati paintings celebrate the essence of wisdom and artistic expression within Hindu culture. Size with the Silk Brocade: 24 x 33-inches (61 cm x 84 cm). Size of Painting : 11-inch x 14-inch (280 cm x 36 cm). THIS IS AN ORIGINAL PAINTING NOT A PRINT. A thangka, also known as tangka, thanka or tanka is a painting on cotton, or silk appliqué, usually depicting a Buddhist deity, scene, or mandala. The thangka is not a flat creation like an oil painting or acrylic painting but consists of a complex subject. Generally, thangkas last a very long time and retain much of their luster, but because of their delicate nature, they have to be kept in dry places where moisture won’t affect the quality of the painting. The Thangkas serve as important teaching tools depicting the life of the Buddha, various influential lamas and other deities and bodhisattvas. The Thangka, when created properly, perform several different functions. Images of deities can be used as teaching tools when depicting the life (or lives) of the Buddha, describing historical events concerning important Lamas, or retelling myths associated with other deities. The Devotional images act as the centerpiece during a ritual or ceremony and are often used as mediums through which one can offer prayers or make requests.
