Huang Fong, born in 1936, was an Indonesian “Asian Modern and Contemporary” painter. His realist-impressionist paintings take us into an idyllic Balinese life of peaceful quietness. His use of 3 techniques in his paintings; Chinese inspired water color transparency along with western style oil painting and the traditional Balinese method of color rubbing set him apart from other painters in Indonesia. Huang Fong paintings have been exhibited throughout SE Asia and Europe. He died in 2004. It is in excellent condition. The size is approximately 26″ l x 19″ w. The colors in the painting are muted however the camera does not capture the gray and blue tones. There are no aging cracks visible.
