Jackie Smith Still Life Fish trio on canvas original art oil painting
Original Impressionist style painting of a classic still life, with three small fresh fish with a’white’ plate background. More fish still lives to be painted shortly. Textured, impasto paintwork and visible brush-strokes, typical of Impressionistic works makes this a timeless piece. Total measurements are 6×8 inches/15x20cm on hand prepared stretched canvas, 19mm deep. Any frame or easel is for display purposes only. I have set up a dedicated account to sell my artworks now I have become a professional painter. The painting will be varnished before being sent to it’s new home. I prepare the panels myself, with the highest quality artist’s materials, and only use the finest oil paints and varnishes to ensure longevity of the works. Most of my paintings are from life, painting direct from the objects arranged in front of my easel, although I do paint outside too (en plein air) and sometimes from photographs, or watercolour sketches I have made.
