CONTENTS: An important large wildlife oil on canvas by acclaimed artist John Seerey-Lester , signed and dated 1982. It shows a herd of elephants at a watering hole in the African savannah. The piece is framed and of a very good size, the painting itself measuring 76cm x 61cm, and the overall frame measuring an impressive 89cm x 75cm. John Seerey-Lester was born in Manchester and started painting in the mid 1970s. Dedicated to his subject, his work in the field of wildlife painting has received worldwide recognition and he has been commended for his work in conservation. Now based in Florida, he is an established name in contemporary wildlife art. For more on the artist.
