Beautiful, large oil painting on canvas depicting a still life with a silvered wooden frame, datable around 1970 – 1980, made by the Italian painter Giovanni Zancolò, an artist still alive. The still life depicts a container, a copper oil pourer with brass handle and spout and a brass mortar and pestle both on a cloth. On the back a drapery, part of a curtain. Painting of excellent artistic level, the picture is superbly executed, note the beauty of the light reflections on the metal objects. Made in post-impressionist style, slightly inspired, especially in the colors and perspective of the objects, by the style of great artists such as Henri Matisse.
