Here is a very NICE large antique oil on canvas Trompe-I’oeil , painting with book pages, letters and small portraits that overall measures about 24 x 30 and although I dont see a signature it could be there under the darkened canvas as it would benefit from a cleaning. The painting is in good “as-found” condition with some thinning in canvas and it wouldn’t hurt to perhaps do a re-stretch as it looks like it might have been put on an existing wood stretcher but this is exactly how I come to find it, acquired from a North Central Indiana estate.
