Vintage oil painting on canvas by noted San Diego artist, Floyd Copeland Chandler canvas size 28 x 36, signed lower right. Newer frame, good condition. Chandler began painting in watercolor at a very early age. By 1930 he was exhibiting his work locally. He studied with Otto Schneider at the San Diego Academy of Fine Arts. He also studied at the Otis Art Institute and in New York at the Art Students League. Chander exhibited widely throughout San Diego and Southern California.
