Antique Portrait Painting Ship Sailing in Moonlight Oil on Canvas Nautical
This is a fine painting of a sailing vessel in moonlight. Signed lower right, although it is too faint for me to read, and dated what looks like 1913. The painting measures 25″ x 20 1/2″ and is displayed in a period deep gilt wood and gesso frame measuring 30 3/4″ x 25 3/4″. Condition: Other than some light craquelure to the painting, it appears to be in very good condition. The frame shows very light wear. Thanks for stopping by. Beautiful Vintage Original Oil Painting. Renato Longanesi is a very well know artist. His paintings are very highly sought after, especially his larger sized paintings, such as this one that I have for sale. Size of artwork is approximately 24″ x 36″ Framed size is approximately 29″ x 40″ The painting shows a few very minor blemishes and signs of it’s age, but is in very good overall condition. The frame shows some natural aging, light scratches, and scuffs. Overall it is still a very nice looking piece in very good condition. Please look closely at the photos and judge the condition for yourself. I’m not exactly sure of the age of this piece. The item “R. VINTAGE original OIL painting on canvas SEASCAPE sail SHIP signed FRAMED 44×32
Original oil on canvas painting. Wonderful painting with great dept to the sea, the waves look three dimensional, you can almost feel the spray of the ocean. The canvas is 24 x 36″ in a 4″ wide gold and green vintage frame with linen liner and gold lip, overall size is 44 x 32. The frame appears to be vintage 1960’s but the canvas appears from the back to be much older. It is signed; Farmington. Excellent condition, some soil on the linen liner, no other damage.
