The painting is fully guaranteed to be by the hand of William Trost Richards. And will come with the notebook of information compiled by at the Nationally Certified Art Appraiser. Professionally cleaned and the paper backing has been replaced. Some photos show the back of the frame before new backing was applied. Showing many original, old markings and labels… Which are still there. Original canvas was once partially detached at the lower right corner and was slightly bent. It has been professionally re-attached to the frame. But NOT repaired to retain the integrity of the original piece. This is hard to see with the naked eye. It is a lovely, period piece.
