He was born in Nagy Bittse, Hungary and immigrated with his family to the U. And settled in NYC – he studied with William M. Chase before moving to San Diego in 1910. This Magnificent California Landscape with Mountains came out of an Important Art Collection that was left to me. It maintains wonderful composition and depth of field and is signed in the lower right. This Incredible Painting is in Very Good to Excellent Condition, though a light cleaning would enhance it further and the frame is in Good Condition. The painting itself measures 8 inches by 10 inches and with the frame it measures 13 inches by 11 inches.
