Mixing representational art with non-representational art isan interesting thing to do, regardless of which style is most dominant. Apainting like Seclusion is 10 percent representational and 90 percentnon-representational. But it could have been approached with the opposite mixtureand been just as effective. That’s the uniqueness of Seclusion. I likeit because it depends on a single, recognizable object to stand out to theviewer.
