This artwork was painted on Bruny Island, Tasmania, in a small island microgallery studio surrounded by sea breezes, birdsong, and more wildlife than seems entirely reasonable. My paintings are inspired by the joy, colour and wonder found in the world around us – curious animals, island adventures, bright skies, interesting characters and the small moments that make life feel magical. Original artwork – not a print. You’ll find everything from miniature paintings known as Artist Cards, Editions and Originals (ACEOs) to larger original works, featuring wildlife, landscapes, birds, devils, thylacines, turbo chooks, island life, and whatever else happens to wander through the studio door. Art should bring a little colour, curiosity and happiness into everyday life. I hope this piece finds a home where it can do exactly that.
