She studied music, psychology, child development, and art at several Universities. Anna worked at the Ontario-Montclair school district for 8 years before she realized she could paint. Due to a work injury, Anna decided to use her pain as form of an outlet to transform her pain into paintings. Anna experienced expression when she discovered music at an early age. She went to study music; mastering all jazz instruments. She was voted most inspirational in high school senior year. Anna’s interest in jazz and salsa combined with interesting abstract expression lead to improvising constant change in her cubism work. Anna is determined to combine humanities and environmental arts. She creates from a place of healing, a phenomenon to social concerns in adapting to our climate change. 2007- During a collaborative gallery opening at the Bergamot Station in Santa Monica, Anna met abstract artist Andy Moses and Painter Salomon Huerta. Anna admired his work and his teachings Don’t render too much, keep a clean pallet, take drawing classes. 2008/2009- Anna took Salomon Huerta’s advice completing several drawing classes and attending UCLA and Pierce Community College. 2008/2012- Anna worked with Icon Michel Comte, a master of expression. Michel Comte is a filmmaker and fashion portrait photographer. He is regarded as one of the most important photographers in the industry. He directed and produced, “The Girl from Nagasaki” his first feature film in 3D, which premiered at Sundance Film Festival 2014. 2010- Michel Comte commissioned Anna to paint 30 foot canvases to then tailor them into kimonos. Anna worked side by side with Alec Monopoly in Michel’s basement for the collaborative film, “The Girl From Nagasaki”. Michel was moved by an original art work shown by, Anna. Michel directed Anna to use her original as her, “cookie cutter”. Anna used 1″ grids, “the color pallet contrasts of tone and color to evoke emotion in his 3D Film. 2011- Alec Monopoly and Anna Collaborated in a 4 page spread in Playboy Magazine art section, promoting their art; feature film, “The girl from Nagasaki”. 2012- Anna worked with Joe Pytka at Andy Warhol Factory, in California. On a collaboration film converse commercial for distribution in France, titled “One Eye”. 2017- Currently Anna is perusing a part time job as an art therapist at Graceland Hospice in the O. Dedicated to our Veterans. The Honey Drop Factory is an art village, a place of peace, and healing. A place designed as an example to educate new generation about sustainable planning through the beauty of environmental arts, keeping in mind her only true mission “Inspire”.
