Acrylic on canvas board. Created at the end of my junior year of high school, this piece depicts the loss of motivation and overall burning out as a result from stress. The figure is seen with candles coming out of the skin, smoke filling the air as she spirals into trying to maintain motivation to keep going. Fire starts to form the longer she stares at her assignments. Could this be executive dysfunction…
