The artist, Elizabeth P. Welsh, was American; I understand that she hailed from CT, and ended her career in the Sedona, AZ area. This large abstract painting appears to depict a city or harbor view in warm brown and orange tones. The artwork measures approximately 38″ by 42, ” and 39.5″ by 43.5″ as framed. The painting is in overall good condition for its age, with a light scratch to the upper left hand corner as shown, as well a slight separation from the frame in the same quadrant, as the frame appears to be a bit out of square.
