Title: “FCK AI Art”. Medium: Oil over Acrylics on Durable Acrylic Glass. Size: 24×36″ (Framed 28×40″). Motivation Behind the Work. This piece is a beautiful sunset that I poured my soul into. But, the creative emotional fuel behind this work was based in frustration with the overuse of AI in art. The problem isn’t necessarily AI (it has incredible usefulness in various applications)—it’s the losers that weren’t hugged enough that employ it in their art. Enjoy the vibrant colors and textures of a true Joshua Blankinship Original. It was created with oils over acrylics on transparent acrylic glass. It was painted in Joshua’s “impressivism” style with brushes and oil markers over acrylic. Joshua is a full time artist and mental health advocate from Medina, Tennessee. Most recently he won “Best in Show” and “People’s Choice” Awards for Leonid Afremov/Afremov. Com’s “Art for Peace” original art competition. From a household free of scents, smoke, pets and other allergens. 24″ by 19″ with the frame. Has definite condition issues, thus the bargain price, but they do not show up under normal display conditions. The conditions I see are a couple of tiny bits of lost paint, loose frame, could use a cleaning (if you like your paintings looking new), and there are wrinkles/ crinkles (not sure how to call these, but see the photos) in the canvas, some gilt loss on the frame. For the past twelve years, I have been traveling in my Airstream trailer painting landscapes of this beautiful country of ours creating art that tries to capture a poetic mood. Inspired by the color and light, whether on a majestic landscape or intimate still life, using the techniques of Impressionism, Tonalism, and Realism is what I wish to share with the viewer. Exploring not only the landscape of the United States but also the wonderful art treasures we as a country possess. I have studied in many of the art museums from coast to coast and have learned many a lesson from the great art masters of the past. From Rembrandt to Monet, to Van Gogh to Jackson Pollock and beyond. As an actor, which I have begun fairly recently, I have been on many sets. As a volunteer firefighter, I have a deeper sense of community by giving what I can to help those in need.
